I took a theology class and that was my favorite class because e had class at so many churches and amazing venues I never would have seen otherwise.
HOW DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
I often talked to Uber Drivers, Taxi Drivers, and other waiters when I was abroad. I also engaged with the city around me, asking for directions and practicing my italian. Most people were nice and let me try to fumble my way through the broken italian to get what I needed to say which made me feel more confident in my abilities by the end of the semester.
